For men
- Measure the circumference of your neck below the Adam’s Apple.
- Measure the circumference of your waist around the navel.
For women
- Measure the circumference of your neck below the larynx.
- Measure your waist at the narrowest point.
- Measure your hips at the widest point.
Once you have these measurements, input them into a Navy Method calculator along with your age, weight, and height.
